Toninho Horta live in LA next week

Toninho Horta will be doing rare appearances in Los Angeles, next week, to celebrate the U.S. release (on Resonance Records) of "To Jobim with Love", originally recorded in 1998 and released in Japan under the title 'From Ton To Tom'.
For the concerts at the Resonance Records Performance Center in Beverly Hills, October 25 (8PM) & 26 (2PM), the great Brazilian guitarist & composer will be backed by Rique Pantoja (keyboards, one of the founders of the Cama de Gato group in the 80s), David Enos (bass) & Enzo Todesco (drums), with guest artists Tom Lellis (vocals) and Lori Bell (flute).

Among the sidemen on the CD, domestically released in the USA last September 9) are Gary Peacock, Sergio Brandao, John Clark, Esdras Ferreira (Nenem), Paulo Braga, Dave Kikoski, André Dequech, Bob Mintzer, William Galison (the harmonica player who joined Toninho Horta on the fantastic 2-CD live set "Live in Moscow", issued by B&W in 1994), Manolo Badrena and others.
