Organist Joey DeFrancesco single-handedly brought the Hammond B3 organ back into the public eye. The winner of five consecutive Down Beat magazine Critics Poll awards, DeFrancesco relights the fire of the classic organ and tenor combos, joined by tenor saxophonists David "Fathead" Newman, Vincent Herring and John Nugent.

The Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra led by John Clayton and Jeff Hamilton journeys east from Los Angeles to match wits, reeds and riffs with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. It's the Savoy Ballroom at Columbus Circle as two blazing big bands face-off on one swinging stage!
