Kerem Gorsev & Allen Harris

The Turkish pianist Kerem Görsev has recorded a new album together with the American singer Allen Harris, as Ali Pektas reports ( Today's Zaman ). Jazz is finding a bigger audience these days, says Görsev. One has to be patient with this kind of music which does not develop an audience as fast as pop music does. Today there is jazz at festivals, in concerts and on TV, and he firmly believes that the audience will grow considerably within the next few years. Besides working with his trio the pianist has collaborated with big orchestras such as the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra with which he recorded a live album in 1999.
