The Cuban trombonist Generoso Jiminez died in Miami, Florida, September 15th at the age of 90 of heart failure. Jiminez had been a member of the original Orquesta Aragon, and later worked with Chico O'Farrill's band. He became widely known as a trombonist with the singer Beny More. He performed in Miami last June and played on the latest album of singer Gloria Estefan to be released shortly. Obituary: Washington Post .
