Diana Krall: more dates for the "Quiet Nights" Tour, including a free concert in NY

Two Additional Diana Krall Tour Dates Announced!

June 13, 2009 - Bank of America Pavilion (Boston, MA)
August 28, 2009 - Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall (Portland, OR)

Diana will also be performing a free concert in New York on March 31, the day of the official release of “Quiet Nights" in the USA. The concert will take place at the Winter Garden of the World Financial Center and the singer/pianist will be backed by her quartet plus 30-piece orchestra conducted by the New Zealand-born Alan Broadbent, the same maestro who appears on the "Live in Paris" DVD. The LA-based Broadbent will conduct the Claus Ogerman charts written for the "Quiet Nights" album. The program will reproduce the same repertoire performed by Krall on the upcoming "Live in Rio" DVD.
Later on, after concerts in Canada, Diana will return to NY on June 23 & 24 at Carnegie Hall, as part of the JVC Jazz Festival.
