Here are their kind comments about the album:
Chick Corea: "Electric Chick"

Killer keyboards from the mighty Chick Corea -- heard here during his late 70s solo years at Polydor Records -- a time when he was kicking back a bit more than in his work with Return To Forever! The tracks on this set are a nice reminder that Corea could be mellow and soulful when he wanted to -- a Fender Rhodes player we'd rank right up there with Bob James or Ahmad Jamal on his instrument, especially on such a well-selected batch of tracks as these! The collection does a great job of dipping around albums like Secret Agent, Friends, My Spanish Heart, and Mad Hatter -- all to find the cuts that stand out as some of the most soulful and well-formed that Corea cut during these years. Other players include Joe Farrell on reeds, Eddie Gomez on bass, and Steve Gadd on drums -- and a few tunes have a light bit of vocals, but never too much. Titles include "Hot News Blues", "The One Step", "Slinky", "Friends", "Love Castle", "The Leprechaun's Dream", "Wind Danse", and "The Mad Hatter Rhapsody".
