Snooks Eaglin

died February 18, 2009, New Orleans/Louisiana, USA)
The rhythm and blues guitarist and singer Snooks Eaglin died of a heart attack February 18th in New Orleans at the age of 72. Eaglin had performed with many rhythm 'n' blues and rock musicians and was hailed as one of the "unique giants of New Orleans music". Among his best known songs was "Funky Malaguena".
