SAXOPHONE GIANT TO GIVE ONLY ONE LOS ANGELES PERFORMANCE!

Houston Person, a passionate tenor saxophonist, enjoyed a musical partnership with the great Etta Jones that lasted over 30 years. Person is recognized as today's leading instrumentalist in the tradition of Stanley Turrentine and for his distinctive sassy sound and his expressive style of playing. He has more than 75 albums under his own name on Prestige, Westbound, Mercury, Savoy, Muse, and is currently with High Note Records.
Houston has recorded with Charles Brown, Bill Charlap, Charles Earland, Lena Horne, Etta Jones, Lou Rawls, Horace Silver, Dakota Staton, Billy Butler and many more.

My personal favorite albums are the duo projects with bassist Ron Carter as well as Houston's collaborations in the '80s with keyboardists Les McCann ("Road Warriors") and Roger Kellaway ("Creation") under the production of Creed Taylor (CTI).
