Their comments:
"The Krauts are at it again -- moving and grooving in a hip array of funk and mod styles from the 60s and 70s -- most of which are even fuzzier and more upbeat than on previous volumes! The music here is heavy on Hammond, guitar, and romping drums -- and a fair bit of tunes have English language too -- sometimes sung with a slight German accent, which further enforces the charm of the songs! As before, the whole package is completely top-shelf -- filled with obscure German gems we'd never have heard otherwise -- and supported with full notes on the music, including track by track details on each tone. Given that there's 20 titles in all on the set, that's a heck of a lot of information -- so you'll have plenty to read while listening to groovers that include "Glory Be" by Daisy Clan, "Fever" by Certain Lions & Tigers, "Drift" by Heinz Kiessling, "The Beat Goes On" by Inga, "La Avispa" by The Rainbow Orchestra, "Butterflies Never Cry" by Georgees, "Whole Lotta Love" by Dieter Zimmermann, "My Soul Is Black" by Gene Williams, "High" by Karl Schiller, "Stroke It" by Ingfried Hoffmann, "That's Me Boy" by Memphis Black, and "Hipguard" by Acid." © 2008 Dusty Groove America, Inc.
