If you are in the NY area, don't miss the terrific Japanese pianist/singer/composer Akiko Yano performing tomorrow, at Joe's Pub, with two living legends: bass hero Will Lee and master drummer Chris Parker! (Btw, I heard them playing together for the first time on Joe Beck's "Beck" album for the Kudu label.)
