Diana Krall: two concerts at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic

Diana Krall performs tonight & tomorrow with her quartet (Anthony Wilson, Bob Hurst, Jeff Hamilton) plus the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Alan Broadbent and Benjamin Wallfisch, at the Hollywood Bowl (2301 North Highland Ave., Hollywood, CA), at 8:30PM. The program includes the superb arrangements written by German genius (and my dear friend) Claus Ogerman for DK's latest releases: the "Quiet Nights" CDs (Verve) and the even better "Live in Rio" (Eagle/ST2) DVD. Not to be missed.
