Quoting the Music Supervisor: "I'm after a sexy "Booty-Call" feel for this scene. This film is a comedy, but the song should have a somewhat serious tone in order to work. The lyrics can be suggestive or playful, even a little cheesy... but I'm NOT looking for anything gross, dirty, or sexist."
Keep your lyrics universal. Avoid references to specific names, places, dates, times, brands, etc. Lyric themes about getting it on, making it, caressing, love, wanting to be with you, all night long, rocking' wit you, bedroom eyes, feelin' the love, a man and a woman, sugar and honey, etc., etc., etc. could all work for this pitch.
Contemporary sounding Songs with a current radio-friendly style will work best for this pitch. Please avoid dated sounding material. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine).
The estimated license fee for this use is $2,500. This is a Direct-to-Music Supervisor placement, so you'll keep 100% of the sync fee and any applicable performance royalties. You must own or control 100% of the Master and Copyright to pitch for this opportunity. All songs will be screened on a Yes/No basis. No full critiques. Please submit 1-3 songs only.
