The official promo video for Diana Krall's upcoming "Quiet Nights" album:

This video includes short takes from the recording sessions (arranger Claus Ogerman conducting the orchestra at Capitol Studios, in LA), but most of the images come from the night that the forthcoming DVD "Live in Rio" was filmed on November 1st, 2008 - excerpts from "The Boy of Ipanema" (the crowd sings in Portuguese while Diana sings in English...), "Too Marvelous for Words," "Quiet Nights," "Summer Samba".
There also interviews with Diana and producer Tommy LiPuma filmed at the Fasano Hotel in Ipanema (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), as well as with musicians Anthony Wilson, John Clayton and Jeff Hamilton (no words from nor about Paulinho da Costa, unfortunately), plus images from the Copacabana beach and the Museum of Modern Art of Niterói, designed by the legendary Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. And, of course, Diana walking on the sands of the Ipanema beach at the sunset.
There's also a scene filmed at Fasano's lobby, on which Krall sings "Cheek to Cheek" backed only by guitarist Anthony Wilson, with Brazilian composer Carlos Lyra (who served as MC on the November 1st concert) seated next to him on the sofa.
As previously informed here, months ago, "Quiet Nights" will be released by Verve Records on March 31 in the USA, while the "Live in Rio" DVD is scheduled for June or July on Eagle Vision.
