Produced by Creed Taylor, engineered by Rudy Van Gelder, recorded on June 6, 7, 8 (basic tracks) & 28 (orchestral overdubs), 1967, at Van Gelder Studios, "A Day In The Life" inaugurated the A&M/CTI partnership (original catalog number SP 3001).
The Miniature LP sleeve reproduces the original gatefold cover, with photos by Pete Turner and Sam Antupit's album design. DSD (Direct Stream Digital) Remastering. Includes original LP liner notes by Johnny Magnus & George Frazier IV plus new text (in Japanese only) by Tadashi Narita.
