Arnaldo DeSouteiro honored at the IAJE Convention

"IAJE is currently engaged in a search process for an Associate Executive Director. This is a senior position and the selected candidate will share in the leadership and management of the Association.
To ensure we attract the strongest possible pool of applicants, I am writing to all of our members with a request for your assistance in bringing this opening to the attention of any individual you feel has the experience and qualifications outlined in the position description.
The salary range will be competitive with similar executive positions. A review of applications will begin on April 20, 2007 and will continue until the position is filled. Your assistance in helping to promote this position is appreciated. All inquiries will be kept in the strictest confidence."

Será que me candidato? Calma, calma, brincadeirinha.

O programa do evento, que tentarei escanear para o próximo post, especificava: "The cross-cultural influences between jazz and Brazilian music. From bossa-nova to world-music. The role of artists, of the recording industry, and the media".

Por enquanto, anexo o "Certificate of Appreciation for Outstanding Service to Jazz Education" que recebi das mãos de Bunky Green e Rick Condit naquela ocasião, tornando-me o primeiro brasileiro (e não o tal do J.D. Mentirelli) a merecer tal homenagem.
