Luca Ciarla's new European tour

Italian jazz violinist Luca Ciarla will begin his new tour in Rome. On February 25, at Spazio Morgana, previously known as Music Inn, the oldest jazz club in Rome, it will be possibile to enjoy his quartet featuring Luciano Biondini on accordion, Redi Hasa on cello and Antonio Franciosa on percussion. On Saturday, February 27, the quartet will be performing at the Al Bustan Festival in Beirut, Lebanon, one of the most important music events in the Middle East, dedicating the 2010 edition to Italian music.

On March 5, Luca will be in his native town, Termoli (Molise), to present Keziat' s new video animation, "Memoria di un Folle", at Il Battello Ebbro. Luca has recently composed the sound track for this extraordinary video. Then on March 6, he will perform tunes from his latest CD "Fiddler in the Loop" near Perugia (L'Occhio, L'Orecchio e la Bocca, Umbertide), on the 7th in Treviso (Musikrooms), on the 8th in Capodistria (Palazzo Gravisi, Slovenia) and on March 9 at Kino Siska in Lubjiana, Slovenia.

The quartet will join again in March for concerts in Austria and Germany. On March 11 they will perform in Wien at Sargfabrik, for the prestigiuos Accordion Festival, then on March 12 & 13 they will be at Cafe Museum Jazz Club in Passau, Germany. The tour will be wrapped up on March 14 with a performance at the Eremitage, near Innsbruck. The concerts in Capodistria, Lubjiana, Wien and Schwaz will be presented in collaboration with the Italian Institutes of Culture of Lubjiana, Wien and Innsbruck.
