Today, "Patois Records" Release Party

While I'm busy here in Europe with the release parties of my recent Verve compilations, something that has forced me to not post often in the past few days, this Sunday I would love to be in California for the "Patois Records Release Party", which will feature latin jazz singer-songwriter Alexa Weber Morales.

The event celebrates the launch of Patois Records, founded by three-time Grammy nominee Wayne Wallace. "The Doctor, as he's known, is the arranger and producer behind my two CDs and the two by singer Kat Parra, as well as four of his own and countless others," says Alexa, who will be performing today, October 21 at 7 pm, along with Wayne and Kat at the Little Fox Theater, an architectural gem located in Redwood City. Now, some of you have said you'd like to come but don't know where Redwood City is. It's on the Peninsula, on 101 between the San Mateo and Dumbarton bridges.

To be more specific:
2215 Broadway St
Redwood City, CA 94063
(650) 369-4119

And here's a link to the map:

Not to miss, if you are in the area today.
