Red Hot Holiday Stomp:

Jazz at Lincoln Center’s annual holiday concert, Red Hot Holiday Stomp, in Rose Theater at Frederick P. Rose Hall: home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, will have a special host this year, trombonist Wycliffe Gordon. This family-friendly concert will also include: Victor Goines (saxophones/clarinet), Walter Blanding (tenor saxophone), Marcus Printup (trumpet), Dan Nimmer (piano), Don Vappie (guitar, banjo), Joe Temperley (baritone saxophone), Roberta Gumbel (vocalist), Reginald Veal (bass) and Herlin Riley (drums). Audiences will enjoy Big Easy-style holiday swing in the Big Apple at Jazz at Lincoln Center, December 11-13, 2008, at 8 p.m., and December 13, 2008 at 2 p.m. Tickets at $30, $50, $75, $95 and $120 are available at the Jazz at Lincoln Center Box Office on Broadway at 60th St., by calling CenterCharge at 212.721.6500 or via www.jalc.org. Kim Burrell: A Gospel Christmas:

Kim Burrell brings the sounds of gospel, jazz and Christmas to The Allen Room at Frederick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, December 11 & 13, 2008 with sets at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Enjoy Christmas favorites such as “O’ Holy Night,” and “Silver Bells” performed by “the gospel diva of the new millennium.” Tickets at $60 can be purchased through www.jalc.org or CenterCharge at 212-721-6500, open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased at the Jazz at Lincoln Center Box Office, located on Broadway at 60th Street, ground floor. Box office hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon – 6 p.m.
