I found the disc “Summerflood” but I did not find the edition American just German.
is the sound different?

Dear Alain,
This is the link for my post about the American issue.
For the U.S. CD release, sound engineer Chris Teffner did a new mastering in 2003, a high-resolution 48kHz 20-bit Digital Transfer from the original tapes.
Creed Taylor also opted for a new front cover art (a pic by Harriet Schmidt evoking memories of Pete Turner's style) and decided to change the track sequence, using the radio-friendly "My Shy I" as the opening track. He also returned to the original CTI logo from the 70s.

I do not know why.
