"Writing this in Budapest, Hungary," says Leitham. "I'm over here to play the Bohem Festival, the Budapest Jazz Club, and a National TV show tomorrrow. These Eastern European Hotel Lobby computers are verz interesting! It's been a long time since the last show at Cafe 322. So much has happened since the move to the East Coast, some of the hightlights: dates at The Blue Note and Dizzy's Club @ Lincoln Center in New Zork, Blues Alley in Wash DC, the Deer Head Inn in the Delaware Water Gap, so many more great things. It will be wonderful to return to So Cal (South California) and see all of mz friends and fans that I miss so much. Hope you can make it to Cafe 322, the food is great, Mario is a wonderful host and this will be the classic trio, the cats on the recordings."
Then...next Saturday, April 17, at 11am, don't miss the Jennifer Leitham Masterclass @ Bob Cole Conservatory (Cal St. Long Beach) with Jennifer Leitham (bass), Andy Langham (piano) & Randy Drake (drums).

"This will be a great opportunity for students to learn how to play in a Jazz trio or Rhythm Section," Jennifer tells. "We'll play a number or two and I'll present my Bass Manifesto, then we'll have each student who chooses to play do a tune or two with them and we'll critique, professionals and students alike..plus questions and answers. If time permits I'll bring along some of my bass ensemble arrangements and we'll play one or two group pieces. If you are a non CSULB student, send a message to me on Facebook for details. This is an invitation only event!"
