Lee Ritenour launches the 2011 Yamaha 6 String Theory Guitar Competition

In partnership with Yamaha, Lee Ritenour, The National Guitar Workshops, and The Crown of the Continent Guitar Foundation, this year's competition seeks to find the next generation of great guitarists!

36 semi-finalists to be selected!

Prizes include: Yamaha Guitars, Endorsement Deals from Yamaha, Monster Cable, and D'Addario Strings, Recording Contract opportunity with Concord Records, Vacation Package at Flathead Lake Lodge in Montana, National Guitar Workshop Scholarships, 2012 NGW Clinic Tour... and MORE!

How to enter:

Sign Up: Enter in 1 of 6 categories: Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Acoustic, and Country.

Upload Your Videos: Submit your two 5 min. videos

Judging: 36 semi-finalists will be selected (6 in each style) to compete at the National Guitar Workshop. 6 finalists will be chosen to compete at the final live competition at the Bigfork Center for Performing Arts during the Crown of the Continent Guitar Workshop in Montana where the Grand Prize winner will be chosen!

Entry deadline is April 30th, 2011.
