Saxophonist and clarinetist Alfredo Gallodoro died October 3rd at the age of 95 at his home in Oneonta, New York. In 1936 Gallodoro had become 1st clarinetist and saxophonist in the Paul Whiteman Orchestra and later worked with numerable musicians from the jazz as well as the classical field. Only two weeks before his death, Gallodoro had performed in a concert with a jazz quartet. Obituary: New York Newsday.
