João Gilberto on the road

Joao Gilberto - the Bossa Nova Pope, the Bossa Nova creator - is scheduled to perform a new series of concert in Japan (and possibly in Korea too) next October/November, to celebrate the release of a DVD filmed in Tokyo during the 2006 tour. He will be also appearing in some jazz festivals during the Summer, including JVC (in NY) and Umbria (Italy).

August 14 & 15 - Auditório Ibirapuera - São Paulo, Brazil
August 24 - Teatro Municipal - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
September 5 - Teatro Castro Alves - Salvador, Bahia
November 1 & 2 - Tokyo International Forum - Tokyo, Japan
November 3 - Yokohama - Japan
