Singer/actress and Riverwalk Jazz guest artist Carol Woods appears in the current musical film inspired by The Beatles, Across The Universe. In the film, Carol sings "Let It Be." After the soundtrack CD was nominated for a Grammy Award, Carol reprised her performance in the Grammy TV show last month.
This month, Carol stars in a Riverwalk Jazz show, Blues Queens, Cakewalkin’ Babies & Songbirds. Catch this show on your local public radio station or stream it from our website beginning this Thursday. Carol also appears on three Riverwalk Jazz CDs: New Year's All Star Jam, American Love Songs and Hot Jazz For A Cool Yule.
