Includes a haunting ballad by Austrian jazzman Fritz Pauer ("Siddhartha"), two mellow songs by Grusin ("Crawl Space", "Chanson") and one by Farmer himself, the lovely "Petite Belle," which features Grusin on a delightful Fender Rhodes solo. Art, playing trumpet & flugelhorn, sounds impeccable throughout the album, recorded in January 1977 at Rudy Van Gelder Studio.
Reissued on CD (twice) only in Japan, distributed by King Records.
