Kaki King live @ Jazz Café next Thursday, April 2
Kaki King: awesomely talented guitarist and singer-songwriter has been leaving audiences and listeners stunned with her unorthodox approach to the acoustic guitar. Her last album in 2008 "Dreaming Of Revenge" was an adventure through ruthlessly inventive, achingly beautiful and joyously carefree soundscapes, melodies and songs so delicate they wouldn't be out of place on an Elliot Smith record. Having previously sold out the ICA and The Roundhouse Studios Kaki returns to London for the first time as trio. Until now it has always been Kaki on her own or accompanied by Dan Brantigan on trumpet and effects but this Jazz Café show promises a different musical journey.
