With the beautiful Hudson River as her backdrop, Grammy winner, multi-platinum seller and “jazz’s premier female song stylist” (Billboard), Diana Krall will perform selections from her new Verve album "Quiet Nights." For this rare concert, she will perform with her quartet (including guitarist Anthony Wilson, drummer Jeff Hamilton and bassist Robert Hurst replacing John Clayton) and a 32-piece orchestra conducted by the LA-based New-Zealand born maestro Alan Broadbent, who previously worked on Krall's "Live in Paris" project.
For Krall’s 12th album, she and co-producer Tommy LiPuma reunited once again with German genius Claus Ogerman for the lush arrangements he provided on her 2001 breakout record "The Look of Love." Copies of "Quiet Nights," scheduled for official US release tomorrow but already a best-seller in Asia, will be available for purchase on site from Barnes & Noble.
This event is FREE and open to the public. No tickets are required. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
