(Quincy Jones, Rod Temperton & Bruce Swedien)
R.I.P.: Rod Temperton (born Rodney Lynn Temperton on October 15, 1947 in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, UK), the most low-profile hitmaker in the history of music. His association with Quincy Jones led him to write his biggest hits like Thriller, Off The Wall, The Lady In My life (all recorded by Michael Jackson), plus songs made famous by Bob James (Sign of The Times), George Benson (Give Me The Night) and many others. He died last week, after a battle against lung cancer, but the sad news only were announced today.
