More Singer Songwriter Needed for $15,000 Dir to Supe Placement
MELANCHOLY SINGER/SONGWRITER SONGS with Male or Female Vocals are U-R-G-E-N-T-L-Y needed by SUNDAY for a NON-Exclusive, $15,000, Direct-to-Music Supervisor placement in a Prime Time TV show on a Major Broadcast Network.
TAXI Tip: The Supervisor found a couple of songs through TAXI that were very close, but he's asked us to run the search again and have our members focus on lyrics that are about overcoming life’s obstacles, stress of life, secrets, pain, getting through the day, etc. They DON’T want relationship-driven songs for this pitch!
NOTE: We recently ran this as TAXI Listing #U160918SS. If you made a submission to that Listing, please send different material this time around.
“I Shall Not Walk Alone” by Ben Harper
“While We Wait” by Jack Johnson
“Come Clean” by Tristan Prettyman
Down-Tempo, acoustic-based Songs with melancholy lyrics and a moody, introspective overall vibe should do the trick. Your vocal performance should have an honest, sincere, and touching delivery. A stripped-down Song with just an intimate vocal and acoustic guitar could easily work for this request. A small, subtle ensemble behind the singer could work as well.
Moody and wistful lyric themes will work well for this pitch. Please AVOID themes that focus on relationships! Universal lyrics that avoid references to specific names, dates, times, brands, and places will make your songs more appealing, but they’re not absolutely necessary. Please do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine).
The estimated license fee for this is $15,000. This is a Non-Exclusive, Direct-to-Music Supervisor placement, so you’ll keep 100% ownership of your Master and Composition rights (no publishing splits), plus you’ll also get 100% of the sync fee and any applicable performance royalties. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to pitch for this opportunity. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis by a screener who was hand-picked by the Music Supervisor - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Sunday, October 2nd, 2016. TAXI #U161002SS
