"When I was a little girl my mother told me how to make the music swing, and I love been into music ever since," Malene says. "My heart belongs to music. That is my main goal in life. I love to play and create music with other musicians. Music is the language of the soul. It’s a beautiful and spiritual thing and it brings so much joy - among performers, among the listeners - and between the band and the audience. For me this interaction is one of the most important things. I often ask myself: Why do I get on stage, what do I want to give? For me that’s a very important question. Every time I go up there, I feel grateful for the opportunity to be standing there and to be able to give and share my songs and my emotions."
