R.I.P.: Luca Maciel

The Brazilian bass player Luca Maciel died on April 26, 2010.

His last recording session was on Gaudencio Thiago de Mello's "Amor Mais Que Perfeito," produced by Flavio Goulart and released on the Ethos Brazil label in 2006.

He also played with Cesar Machado, Aecio Flávio, Marcio Montserrat, Hugo Braule, Paulo Kamanga, João Carlos Coutinho, Fernando Merlino, Andrea Ferrer, Alberto Farah and the Antonio Carlos & Jocafi duo, among others.
