This 2-CD set is part of the "Albert Mangelsdorff 80th Anniversary Edition", released by Universal in Europe. Includes two complete albums: "Trilogue - Live!" (recorded at the "Berlin Jazz Days" on November 6, 1976, with Jaco Pastorius & Alphonse Mouzon), and "Live in Montreux" (featuring J.F. Jenny-Clark & Ronald Shannon Jackson on the July 16, 1980 concert). The CD booklet reproduces both the original LP covers and liner notes.
Recently, I picked up "Ant Steps on an Elephant's Toe", the encore played on "Trilogue," for my latest CD compilation on Verve, "Jazz Rock."
