Wow! What an album! Eddie on acoustic bass, Airto on drums, percussion & vocals, Chick on Yamaha CFIIIS piano, Fender Rhodes and MiniMoog Voyager. Recorded live at Berklee Performance Center in Boston, MA, in 2006, it's partially a tribute to Bill Evans including superb recreations of "With A Song in My Heart", "Waltz for Debby" and "Sweet and Lovely".
Extended versions of such RTF early classics as "500 Miles High", "Sometime Ago" and "La Fiesta" are also on the program.
Not to mention Chick's homage to Jobim & Newton Mendonça via "Desafinado". Airto's hilarious vocal intro is beyond words...! Btw, this album confirms that, besides being one the master percussionist, Airto is also one of the ten best drummers in the world.
