Jazz at Lincoln Center announces biggest season ever

Jazz at Lincoln Center Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis, Executive Director Adrian Ellis and Chairman of the Board Lisa Schiff announced the 2008-09 season featuring over 3,000 events including concerts, education events, broadcasts, worldwide touring (see attached chronology) and new partnership with MasterCard Worldwide. The 2008-09 season marks the organization's 22nd season of programming and the fifth season in its home, Frederick P. Rose Hall.

Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis concerts feature performances with Ahmad Jamal; Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra; Blue Note Records at 70 Years with Joe Lovano and Dianne Reeves, collaboration with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and newly commissioned works by Wynton Marsalis and Vincent Gardner

Thelonious Monk Festival features the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Marcus Roberts, Danilo Pérez in concerts and special events

Paquito D'Rivera guest leads the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra

Subscriptions
Beginning March 4, subscriptions will be available for renewal for all Rose Theater and The Allen Room packages (subscription packages offer a 12% discount on single ticket prices). Current subscribers may renew between today through April 11 to ensure retention of their seats. New subscriptions may be purchased beginning April 21.

Membership Discount
Jazz at Lincoln Center Members (Donors of $50 or more) get 50% off JALC produced shows in Rose Theater and The Allen Room tickets IF the tickets are purchased the day of the show at the JALC box office. Members MUST show their membership card to receive this discount. Limit two tickets for individual donors and four tickets for Family Members and above.

Pricing
- Ticket prices for Rose Theater are $30, $50, $75, $95 or $120 dependent upon seating section.
Note: Hot Seats, $10 seats for each Rose Theater performance, are available for purchase to the general public on day of each performance. Subject to availability. Hot Seats are available via Centercharge or by calling 212-721-6500.

- Ticket prices for The Allen Room are $60 for any seating section.
*Please note that a $1.50 Jazz at Lincoln Center Facility Fee applies to ALL ticket purchases. A $6 handling fee also applies when purchasing tickets from CenterCharge or from www.jalc.org; these fees do not apply to $10 Hot Seats.

Jazz for Young People tickets in Rose Theater are $12, $20, $28.
Jazz Talk tickets are $10.
Swing University tickets are $125 -$250.

All single tickets for The Allen Room, Irene Diamond Education Center and Rose Theater can be purchased through www.jalc.org or Centercharge at 212-721-6500, open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased at the Jazz at Lincoln Center Box Office, located on Broadway at 60th Street, ground floor. Box office hours: Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. (or 30 minutes past curtain) and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. (or 30 minutes past curtain).

Group Sales
Groups of 15 or more receive one complimentary ticket for every 15 tickets for Rose Theater and The Allen Room performances purchased at full price. Visit jalc.org/groups for more information.

Students & Seniors
$10 student (with valid ID) and senior tickets are available one hour before the scheduled start time of the performance in Rose Theater and The Allen Room. Subject to availability
